- Clean your mouthguard before and after use by rinsing with water.
- Once a week soak in a solution of half water and half hydrogen peroxide, or other antimicrobial rinse.
- A soft bristle toothbrush is good to use on the inside to help brush out any debris or build up.
- Store your mouthguard in a clean, rigid, ventilated plastic container.
- Don’t expose your mouthguard to heat sources or direct sunlight for long periods of time.
- Examine your mouthguard before use for fit and any damage, such as tears or loss of resiliency.
- Replace your mouthguard if it is damaged or becomes loose.
